WTF? where the fuck is contra? I'm still playing this shit on my pc, Contra is one of the best nes games of all time next to zelda and castlevania. I'm really gonna go nuts if they don't release this shit soon.

I recently downloaded zelda and its harder than the new wii zelda tp. Ive died 32x and i think i died 3-4 on TP. Only shitty thing is u can beat zelda in like 4 hours
 
my nes died long ago. I still have plenty of roms. I played through most of it last night before I ran out of lives. yeah I should play zelda again but I can only play though that game once every 3 years or so. I still got my F-Zero on the wii though..

Hey anybody know if the origional nes controllers will work on the wii if you convert them to usb (or buy one pre converted)? maybe I'll try this out tonight.
 
yeah, still a great game though. and now we can beat it in 3-4 hours but back in the day before we had walkthroughs (or had just memorized the game) it took weeks. shit I had zelda for years before I beat it.
 
I was really considering picking up one of those newer top loading nes consoles for like 10 bux and getting a bunch of old games, then the wii came out and I just figgured I'd do it that way. its fun on the pc but nothing beats playing it on a tv.
 
Well ive used no walkthrough i and i dont even have a bloody map I got to the 9th temple after like 6 hours, fuck i remember playing the game non stop and still couldnt beat it back in the day haha

now if someone could make one of those that ran of an SD card, dvd or hard drive I'd be in buisness. thats pretty cool though. dont have any of my old games now though.
 
or you could alway just order one of the NES or SNES USB controllers of of the internet. ORRRR, you could get the USB adapter or either one and use your own controllers. I kinda like the usb controller, its just makes it one less thing I would have to carry in my laptop bag. I would probably suggest getting the SNES one though, simply for the fact that you could use it for the nes roms or the snes roms.

I've got a usb nes controller for my pc and an adapter that works for ps and n64 controllers, I'm not worried about pc emulation. I just want somthing for my tv.
