Constantly getting colds, flu etc

This is my wife. Shes constantly getting colds, flu, coughs etc.

In the past six months shes probably had some sort of cold for half that time. Been back and fore to the GP, taken antibiotics but it always comes back.

Recently had blood tests in GP (not sure which ones) but it all came back as OK.

Any other ideas? GP seems to be running out of ideas as well.

I am sorry to hear about this! That must be frustrating. This is a very basis idea, but how do your wife's nutrition habits look? I just thought of this because I have a friend who gets sick all the time and she has poor eating habits. She says that she doesn't eat much, but I notice that she eats mostly carbs and not enough fruits, vegetables, and protein. Therefore, her body is lacking a lot of the essential vitamins and nutrients we need to be healthy.

That was my life for many years until finally I had an Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) specialist tell me that if I was getting URIs so often that it probably was due to allergies. Allergies that cause mucous keep the nose's internal environment just right for unwanted bugs that cause cold, sore throat, flu, sinus infections...etc to take hold. (I had allergy testing and went on allergy med for quite awhile. That was years ago. Haven't taken any in years now. Did help, for sure!)

What helps me now as a very practical and natural way to keep unwanted bugs from invading my system is so simple that most ppl just don't believe it: Simple saline nasal spray. I start taking it if ppl around me are getting down with a bug or if I start to feel like I am. Like that tickle-in-your-throat warning sign that happens. For me...stops it the same day! (I'm thinking that these germs are freshwater inhabiters. They sure aren't saltwater germs.Hehe!...Like differences in where fish survive, huh! Freshwater vs saltwater.)

Hope this helps. Just food for thought. I wish her well.
Certainly has changed my life for the better over the past 20 + years or so.

I would try taking Arius since it helps with the symptoms of both allergies, colds, and flus. Have her drink green tea because it contains phytochemicals that assist the immune system. If it does not turn out to be allergies maybe she could do a sleep study? Is she suffering from stress or anxiety? How is she sleeping?
