Hey everyone, I'm new to the board, but definitely not new to anxiety :-( I've been getting anxiety attacks now since I was about 14 years old and I'm 25 now. Recently I've noticed that I've had a nervous feeling in my stomach, chest and sometimes neck where it feels like me heart should be beating very hard and slow, but it isn't really. It comes in waves. Usually when I'm really busy doing something I don't notice it, but sometimes I still do. I've had almost every test known to man and just got done with a bunch of neurological tests because I swore that there was something wrong with my brain. Now I'm focused on my heart and having something wrong with it. I had a stress echo last June and it was fine and I've had numerous 24 hour holter monitors and they were all fine except for occasional PVC's and PAC's. I just went to the doctor the other day and had another monitor put on and I'm waiting on the results to come back. My doctor said that even if my results are fine, I still need to go see a cardiologist which is making me a nervous wreck!! My mom says that he just wants to rule everything out and make me feel better, but that since I'm so young and my previous tests were fine that I am ok. I wish I could believe that. The logical part of my brain says I am, but the anxiety part doesn't let me listen. Anyway, if anyone else has ever had the always nervous feeling that I've been getting I'd love to know so that I don't feel so scared and alone. Thanks guys.
