I was just hit with 6 emails at one time. It could be yahoo. Are any of you using the yahoo beta, with normal yahoo email does it delay?

Thx for the responses

She uses regular old yahoo, no beta

It's odd that some days it completely takes it in the *** and then today, for instance, it's fine.

Will try to get her to use another email but she's prettty hooked on yahoo due to migraiton pains in the butt

(sorry for all the anal references!)

I get my gmail, and my blackberry e-mail just fine, yahoo seems to take a while , so it could be in fact a yahoo problem

I spoke with RIM and he had me delete my service books / re-send, re-register the device and all. It worked for a little but my gmail is still being selective in what emails it sends me. I only have a filter to not forward emails send from myself to my device but eveything else should be working. Any ideas?

Ok, I had a similar problem several months ago with yahoo mail. Its the size of your inbox on yahoo. The BB backend scans your entire inbox for new messages, and it will time out after a short time. I cleaned out my inbox and keep it less than 100, and have not had any problems. Unless I forget and let the messages build up again. That has happened. Hope this helps. Folders in your inbox are ignored by BB. So sorting into folders works. (wap.rabroad.com)~

That's a great idea. Could definitely be a problem with my gmail account and 5000+ emails! I'll start moving the older stuff into folders. Appreciate the advice!

So it's still being selective and only pushing some emails to my berry. The only filter I have is to prevent it from forwarding emails sent from my gmail back to the berry.

I've tried sending service books, soft resets, deleting existing service books and then re-sending, to no avail. I'm still not receiving every email that comes to my Gmail account.

Any additional suggestions I should try?
