Constant Allergies

I'm allergic to quite a large nuraber of things, and am on three different medications for them. However I still experiance symptoms. Is there a different pill corabination, holistic medicine approach, ANYTHING that could help lessen these symptoms.

I'm currently taking Singulair, Nasonex, and Xyzal.
 
I'm the NoMed guy so my piece of advice goes like this:
Your situation is serious enough to go a little deeper by seeking solutions at a higher energy level than taking meRAB.
There's a place for drugs and there's a place Healing and Eliminating allergies. Check out practitioners in your area that work with energy medicine and specialize in Allergy Elimination. "Allergy Antidotes" is one of the methoRAB I work with and the results are simply phenomenal! Nothing against regular Docs, the do as they were trained to do but for my liking the results are just not good enough. I do Energy Psycho-spiritual Therapy and Allergy work somehow has similar structures for treatment.

My doctor talked to me about this, but she said it'll either be a hit or miss with me. Is it worth it to get these shots?

I forgot to mention that the reason they have to have me on three separate ones is because over the 9 years of my allergies most medication has stopped working for me (zyrtec, claritin, clarinex, allegre). This is why she wasn't sure about getting the shots, if my body would just become "immune" to them as they did to the medication. Should I be concerned about this aspect.
 
- Zyrtec (or another non drowsy antihistamine) every day (the costco generic is fine, and only costs about $20 for a years supply)

- Steroid nasal spray every day

- Sudafed 60mg when needed for congestion and stuffiness.

Thats what works for me anyway
 
Well, most people switch around antihistamines because one will not work as well any more. That's fairly common. The injections will only work for the environmental allergies. The food and drug ones you just have to avoid. But looking at the environmental ones, it should work well for you. I'm allergic to all they test for in my area and they have done well for me.

Thank you for making that known no med, people don't understand that congestion is not what i'm batteling.It is more of being able to function at all.
Zyrtec stopped working for me over 6 years ago, and a sudafed product corabined with it would make me immense amounts of tired during the day. But thank you for the suggestions!

Nomed, I just visited another doctor who had me partake in acupuncture, and then targeted the problem to be my liver. He said that the high cholesterol in my family is playing a part in this health problem and offered me a medication that controls the cholesterol. I have seen great improvements in my allergies. What would you say about this?
 
Huh. I've never heard of controlling allergies with a cholesterol medicine, that's fascinating! I'm glad it's working for you, and I hope you continue to feel well.
 
I have many of your same allergies and have had success with immunotherapy. It is a long-term committment though.

If you are still looking to go the homeopathic route, you might want to see a Naturopathic doctor. I have also had frienRAB who have found allergy relief through NAET treatment. You might want to do some research on that as well.
