My current phone is the 6236i, which I have been very happy with save for one problem. The vibrate no longer works (and was rather weak when it was functional). I am a college student and would like to spare the embarrassment of the ringtone during lecture. I am too forgetful to turn my phone to silent before every class, so my phone spends its entire life in silent mode.

I am currently looking at replacing my 6236i with a 6315i, but have a few questions first:
1) How strong is the vibrate? I need to be able to feel the vibrate through a loose pocket (my pants aren't excessively baggy, but they are certainly not tight either)

2) It would be nice to be able to sync contacts with my computer. Does Verizon support this feature over Bluetooth with this phone, or is bluetooth limited to headset functionality?

3) If Bluetooth doesn't work for a contact sync, can this be done over a cable?

4) How sturdy is this phone? The CNET review claims the hinge feels a bit flimsy. Does this degrade over time, or is this a sturdy phone that just feels flimsy? I am reasonably careful with my phones (I don't use a holster or case, but my phones are rarely dropped and never abused).

I am not worried about media features, I just need a phone that works well. I'm seriously considering bluetooth now that it's so pervasive.

I am also looking into the Moto KRZR K1m and W385, my questions on these phones are in the moto forum.

Thanks for any insight/experience
