Conservatives, do you refute that their exists a lack of accountability in

Right, Bill Gates and Warren Buffet have just slogged along without being held accountable. Nobody has noticed or cared about their performance.

Absolutely, I refute it. There is no end to the levels and types of professional accountability. Don't believe it? Screw up just once and try to keep your job. And if you get fired, good luck finding a new job in that industry.

And, having spent more than my fair share of time in the area of academia, I'd say there is far less in this endeavor even though they give you a grade. You think that grade is totally objective or consistently reflects a student's level of understanding of the material, I invite you to spend a little more time in a class room. They try, I'll give them that, but are only marginally successful.

Nope, totally the opposite,,,,,,,,,,,I refute that their exists a lack of accountability in assessing academic performance!

How can ther be accountability when you have a teachers union and teachers tenure?

Some public school teachers are still licensed and collecting pay after being convicted of sex crimes with students.

The real question here is how you cannot see this?

.

Nonsense.

In the private sector, most folks have certain goals that need to be accomplished. I sure have them. I have several process goals and result goals that must be met.

If I do, that's essentially getting a C. Exceed them, and that's like getting an A or B.

No, I do not refute that. Disparities abound.
I object to a executive making 300 times the salary of the average employee who produces product.
I object to Golden Parachutes giving failed execs $ millions just to leave and quit destroying the company.
I object to politicians who get benefits by paying tax dollars as bribes to get contributions.
I object to voters endorsing those politicians just because they get a monthly check extorted from the assets of their neighbors.
The list goes on.

It's an analogy. It does not mean academic performance is going to reflect professional performance. What it's supposed to do is take similar situations in a given field so it's easier to explain what's going on.
