ok so i admit the question doesnt make too much sense!! so i have my chance here:
I have a w reg (2000) clio with a cassette player, I have a cassette adapter and have soldered the headphones wire to a small jack and use my pda to play music via its mini usb to the tape player! its a mission to be honest as I have to adjust the volume on the software, the volume on the pda the volume on the headphones wire and yes the volume on the car player as well! this needs to be adjusted everytime an mp3 has a different kbps setting!! so I start looking for an alternative!! I cant afford much as you can tell I am doing things that are possible and I do like to challenge possibilities (I'm suprised i soldered usb and it worked to be honest)
I saw that the cd player alternative for the clio has an upgrade or update slot in the back for a cd changer!! i read this can be hacked with some adapter to play mp3 players as an aux input!! THEN I read that a connects2 adapter can actually charge , play, control an IPOD and display the ID3 tag on the clio clock display AND BE CONTROLLED BY THE STEERING CONTROLS ALSO!!!!!!! THIS IS SO EXCITING!!! well sort of! I dont know if it works with the clio cd player.. it works with a sony so was wondering if anyone can shed some light.. if it works with the clio player.... i will get one and maybe eventually get an ipod!! (thats if i dont find a way to get it to control my pda
