Connectivity Phone problems(t637)/T3

I am a longtime T3 user and had always connected via my mobile phone Sony Ericsson t68i. I just moved from att wireless to Cingular and upgraded my phone to the blue tooth enabled Sony Ericsson t637. I also upgraded my "phone link" software. I reset the phone to recognize the T3 and vice versa. A connection is established with the phone to handheld, but is then terminated to show gprs parameters not supported. I have the full data package through Cingular as I did through att wireless. Can anyone offer a solution?

Thank you

Norm

If you haven't done so already, I would recommend that you select the driver for the T610. I doubt that the T637 is compatible with the T68i driver.

My wife has a T630 and has no problems with the T610 driver. Hope this helps.

Can I just ask another question...?

I bought my T3 eaxactly a year ago and loaded the Phone updates... updates???!!!

I mean... where are they... a year later and probarbly 200 new phones released in the Western World yet Palm appear to have done diddly squat.

I'm now on my 2nd Moto and cant do anything at all - even BT dialling... and my last Moto (v600) was a massively popular model yet there was no driver to make it work fully with the T3. SMS via Palm was honestly one of the key features that attracted me.

Will Palm ever get off thier fat backsides with a phone update or is there any 3rd party out there???

palmOne occasionally posts updates at its web site. They can be downloaded free of charge. If I am not mistaken, the latest update was done last month.

Thanks for that Dwinget.

However my point remains that it's taken nearly a year for them to finally release a driver for a Motorolla phone which is now out of date.

I've now purchased a Moto' E1000 - I'll look forward to the update that will probarbly arrive 2 days before I get my next phone!

:)

The latest Phonelink Update finally solved my GPRS connection problem with the Nokia 7610. Almost everything work now - internet, email, phone dial from T3 addressbook. Except that it can only send out SMS from the T3 (and not retrieve SMS from the phone).

This is good news for Nokia users (most of their current phones are now listed). There were so many posts about connectivity with Nokia phones before, and I guess Palm has responded quite well. (A lot of other phone brands/models were also included in the latest update).
