Toxic Soap

I have the sprint epic 4g. And it has sprint hotspot. Does anyone know how to get my toshiba satallite l305d to connect to it? It picks up the signal but won't fully connect. Its not the hot spot. My laptop has done this before with a few other neworks but it works on some.. idk if its the driver?? Any help will do please.. thanks
