I have music on my ipod and laptop. How would I connect both to the auxiliary in my car stereo? I would like the ability to switch from one to the other without needing to disconnect either.
Get an adapter cable with 2 male ends. (The kind that fit a headphone jack). Plug one end into your car's aux port, and the other end into your laptop headphone out jack. Then plug the ipod into the laptop via the usb docking cable. Itunes will allow you to play the music on the ipod via the speakers (which are now your car speakers), as well as any music stored on the computers hard drive.
