On her Oscar nomination for Best Actress In A Leading Role for her performance in The Blind Side.

I think she is an incredibly talented actress, who has done some great work for many years in various films, it's just great to see her finally gain some real recognition within the industry for her acting talents.
I think partly why it's taken her 17 years or so to recieve an oscar nod is because she hasn't really starred in many dramatic roles, instead opting for comedies which she excels in very much, therefore it's brilliant she has now truly become a more rounded and versatile actress.

I am very excited to see The Blind Side when it opens in cinemas in the UK.

In celebration of her two huge blockbuster movies last year namely The Proposal and The Blind Side, i was wondering what are your favourite films by Sandra Bullock.

She's my fave actress, really hope she wins the Oscar she's nominated for! I loved her in The Proposal, Miss Congeniality, 28 Days, Two Weeks Notice and While You Were Sleeping- I could go on... lol
 
I have been a SB fan for 15 years and always wanted her to be an oscar winner. She seems to have suddenly become a huge name again after a few years in the wilderness. I have always liked

In fact anything she is in is worth a look. I went to the Miss Congeniality 2 film premiere 5 years ago and stood in the crowd hoping for an autograph. She went round the crowd and i was near the front. Suddenly she was standing about 6 feet in front of me! I had seen her in real life! Then someone nearby distracted her and she moved on and never quite made eye contact so i never got my autograph.
