Confusing Riddle or Easy?

I was once a creature, At the bottom of the Blue...
I had 3 homes...
one of them was on the shore, the other was in the ocean. the third is a mystery...



I was put in a shop and taken out of my 3rd home...
People listen to my home, they say they can hear the waves...

What creature am i?
This riddle was designed Easy :)
But try my other ones.
 
yepp, hermit crab. Easy. The part where it says people listen to my home and say they can hear the waves, gives it away
 
Try being a conch. Your first home would be on the shore because conchs lay these long egg sacks that wash up on the beach. You second home is the ocean because when you hatch, you're washed back out to sea with the tide. Then you were taken from your home and invited to dinner (because you ARE dinner), where people said they could hear the ocean when you arrived.

Something like that.
