Confused with the Pregnancy test result!?

I am 8 days delayed from my period, so,I decided to take pregnancy test last week when I was just 3 days delayed. And when I woke up,I peed on the stick and I saw the result,it was negative, I put the pregnancy test kit inside the box for few hours then when I went back to the bathroom to throw it I decided to check it again and it became positive?
Is that accurate?

It says on the pregnancy test kit, I should wait within 10 minutes to see the result and I left before the given time.
What is the percentage that I could be preggo?
 
I recently took on and it says not to read the test results after 10 min. I would take another test if I was you.

The ones I use say that a negative result will go away after 10 mins but a positive result will last up to 48 hours (I swear! the box says so!). Try another test and check when it says, usually 3 mins.
 
Your best bet would be to take another test.
When I was pregnant and took tests the positive came up straight away.
 
Go to your PCP or the health dept and ask for a blood test. That is always the most accurate. Good luck, and I hope the outcome is what you wanted!
 
they best thing u can do is is take a clear blue test. and that might pick up a result i found with the ordinary results it didint pick up much but clear blue did right of way good luck
 
No, it was not accurate. That's an evaporation line and the reason for them telling you not to read it after the ten minutes are up. Take another test to be sure if you are concerned.
 
Its not accurate, you should be able to get a good reading after two minutes. I always found that actually dipping the stick in urine works better other than peeing directly on it.
 
It says discard any results after 10 minutes. Try another again and if you're too worried, go to your doctor and do a blood test... That is the most accurate
 
Well I would deffanatly take another one b/c your really supposed to wait 5 days after your missed period so you said your 8 days now so try and take another one. good luck!
 
The same thing happened to me so I took another test...and I am now almost 7 weeks pregnant. I would take another one...and preferably the digital.

I had that happen once and I was pregnant - but the first answerer is right, it could be the evaporation line. I would wait another day or two, and try again, or take a digital one that will read pregnant or not pregnant. Good luck!
 
I would say go to the drug store and get two more and do it over again. That one may not be reliable so don't get that brand.
