I recently had a TSH and Free t4 test done because i just do not feel well. I am swelling, cold all day long and then sweat all night, all around tired,chronic sinus and skin infections, exhausted yet have trouble sleeping at night. These symptoms made me think I might be hypo but I got my test results back and they are not what I had thought.
TSH 1.49
FT4 is .85 ...Dr says my blood work is absolutely perfect I thought ft4 was on the low side and find it a little odd for my tsh to be where it is and my FT4 to be on the low end of normal..Am i wrong? Is it possible my tsh is wrong? my dr is sort of an ass but do to insurance I am stuck with him.
I want to pay out of pocket for a thorough thyroid work up...can order it on line do my numbers give just cause to spend the $$$
I am a 39 f. I am tall, big boned and about 70 lbs overweight though i do not eat much at all. I should also add I ache all over my joints my muscles my feet burn and tingle...
