following the LG 9900 tutorial on this one. using all the same settings and also the 9900 dll file.

paramtable1.fil will not overwirte with the one that is poseted in the tutorial.

making sure it should not be a problem using a 9900 .dll on the 9400

the 9400 dll i have is causing way to many errors in lgdownload to be functional.

To fix that problem on a Chocolate what you have to do is go to Settings - Phone Settings - Security - Reset Phone and that should restore it.
 
tried that- no luck.

i'm gonna revert all the settings back to verizon, and do 1 at a time to see when the camera loses its functionality.
 
u used the 9900 paramtable file? on a 9400?? didnt realize they were the same. makin changes to those files can make ur fone get brikked. lols. like using a hex edit dont try deleting something by pressin ................. lol =D im smart i know. but, i was at least smart enough to make a back up. :P
 
didnt chage the 9400 to the 9900 param table. all i did was edited the 3rd byte to 20 like in the env tutorial. that ulocked the wap settings.

i did go step by step in the nv items by the env tutorial. something in there messed up the camera on the 9400. might just leave as is- but still trying to figure out what would have caused it
 
also- the 9400 dll does not work in lgdownload that i have. got it from humpa vzx, but causeing errors. when it is installed, it will not let me select it in the dll list in lgdownload
 
Thats because you have to many DLLS in the folder....
LG Downloader has a bug for some reason
Put all the dlls in a different folder...
Then just put the 9400 dll in the models folder and it will work 100%
 
Yeah too many dlls will cause that to not be able to select and trying so it will skip randomly, I just unistall the ones I don't use often and keep them in a folder and just install when I use em again.
I've done few of these phones before I didn't have any issues using the 9400 dll went through smoothly.
