Conditions similar to diabetes?

Are there any conditions out there that mimic several symptoms of diabetes (type 2)?

I was getting diabetic-like symptoms 1.5 years ago and my fasting blood sugar came out at the bottom end of the range, albeit still within range. (It was 65.) Now I'm getting them again, but with the addition of rapid heartbeat (and I have seen the doctor for this), and it seems like I'll be getting that same blood sugar test again but nothing with more specificity.

I'm having enhanced sensitivity to sugary foods, occasional frequent urination/dry mouth/enhanced thirst, vision/eye issues, rapid heartbeat, occasional pricking/pain in extremities, major fatigue. These symptoms seem to be linked with each other, in that if I experience one symptom strongly enough, the others soon appear. I'm 28 years old and I have been very skinny my whole life.

Anyone?

There is a condition called Insulin Resistance (Pre-Diabetes II), which causes a lot of varied symptoms, many similar to Diabetes. It's where your pancreas is over-producing more Insulin than your body can handle, and subsequently your body kinda is going nuts because of the excess harmful Insulin in the blood.

The good news, if this is indeed your problem, is that Insulin Resistance is very curable through diet and exercise.

It's all part of the Metabolic Syndrome.
