Is it an arena gig? If so i'm guessing the side seats there. No idea really.

its at a reallly small venue in a local bar both the stage area and the side of the stage area are relatively small so thats why im confused i suppose i could wait until tomorrow to find out but i got curious lol

Off the stage to the side. Its typically a pretty bad seat in my opinion.

in my experience a side stage on it's own is at an event where multiple banRAB are playing and a band whose name is in smaller font on the marquee is playing there.

SITTING side stage - depending on the venue - would simply mean... sitting on the side of the stage...? Did you try to google the venue at all and check the seating arr.?
