Ok so I want to go to a We the Kings and The Academy Is... concert on October 7th. It's on a Tuesday night though, and I only have one friend that I could take with me because none of my other friends like the bands. But this one friend who I want to take, well, her mom is really strict and I don't think she would let her go. But I really really want to go and I'm not going to go by myself. Her mom said she needed more information before she said yes or no. Like it starts at 7 I believe, but when would it end? And like what happens there... And I am sort of worried that her mom will want to come with us. Do you think we should let her? We are 13. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You're thirteen? She should come with you, concerts are dangerous, people die there!!!!!
-sigh- If you get seats instead of floor seats, you'll be fine. Concerts are usually two and a half hours, depending on if you stay for the encores or not.
When I went to the My Chemical Romance concert, they did two CDs during the whole concert.
Again, I don't recommend floor seats... first timers always get rushed to the hospital. Expecially if you decide to go into the mosh pits.

it depends on how many bands there are, and if they are on time, where the venue is, a lot of stuff. and even if her mom comes, you should go. she will probably stay out of your way, no one will know she's with you. and you'll probably get to stay later. and that's what you'll remember later. and it will be a funny story when you're older- you'll be able to say "oh, yeah I saw that band, and we were so young that my friend's mom had to come with us" and everyone will laugh. When i was 13, my friend's uncle had to come with us to see Nirvana. Do you think that part still matters? nope, what matters is i got to see Nirvana in my life.

first timers DO NOT always get rushed to the hospital, that girl is just dumb.
