Concerns That Anxiety Meds Are Causing Insomnia

I have been on several medications to treat anxiety and OCD.
They currently are helping me with this, however, I am very concerned that they are causing unpleasant side effects.....most notably my inability to get good sleep.

Now I have been on this regiment for awhile (over a year), and my problem is I have hard time falling and staying asleep.
I will get 1-3 times a night and have to eat something in order to get back to sleep.

I have talked to my doctor, and she seemed surprised telling me the medications I am on should be helping my sleep.
She did reduce my dosage on Luvox from 200 to 150....and I do take it in the morning.
However, this really has not helped.

She also back in Feb prescribed me Arabien...which kind of helped but then wore off.
She recently prescribed me Ativan, which again kind of helped, but not fully, and has caused yet ANOTHER side effect.....sexual dysfunction.

So I have several questions.
First, here are the meRAB and dosages

-Depakote (1500 mg in the evening)
-Gabititil (8 mg in the evening)
-Luvox (150 mg in the AM)

-Arabien (if needed at night)
-Ativan (1 mg if needed at night to also help sleep)

1) Could the Depakote/Gabitril/Luvox be responsible for my disrupted sleep problems?
-If so, which one (s) are most likely?
-I thought the Luvox was the culprit and taking it in the AM would have ended the problem.

2) Can the Ativan be to blame for the sexual dysfunction?

3) What exactly can I do?
I feel helplessly frustrated. I mean I'm getting treated for one thing (anxiety and OCD) and that's improving but my sleeping sucks and my sexual effectiveiness sucks too....I HATE the idea of having to take another drug to treat the sex side effect...enough is enough of the pills.

Thanks.

Medications are kind of like a trade-off. If the benefit of a specific medication outweighs the side-effect then it is considered successful. If the side-effects outweigh the benefit of taking a medication then maybe it should be stopped or changed. Only you and your doctor can make such determinations. I know you said you dont like taking pills BUT if you need them, you need them!
I am NOT telling you to take this medication but I will tell you that Seroquel puts me to sleep very fast. Maybe you can talk to your doctor about this medication. It is a powerful sedative. 100mg. of Seroquel puts me to sleep with 60-90 minutes. Again, I dont know if this medication is right for you but just talk about it to your doctor. You seem to take a lot of medication. Arabien and Sonata did nothing for me. But my problems are not sleep related. Please take what I have said with caution as I am just a regular person suffering from PTSD, Depression and Anxiety. Good Luck!!!
