Fish is almost always more expensive and I would never buy it at a Walmart.

Chicken is cheapest with fish next and then beef (steaks, esp.).

I buy my food from Wally world all the time, but I don't buy my meats there. I have a cheaper place for beef.

Walmart tends to package items cheaper if you buy the largest size. As far as a lot cheaper, not so much. I only buy can goods, dairy products, cereal, etc. I don't know that the quality is that great, just my opinion. I have found that when I shop the local grocery ads, I get much better deals at Safeway or Fry's. By shopping the ads every week, you know when a good deal is a good deal. I save so much money that way.
