I remembered that I read many years back Napoleon discussing how he was dismayed at the notion of dying, since everything would be bleak and blank thereafter. *He was an athiest, he didn't worry about God's judgement, but worried about the end of his life. I think he said it to Lucia, not sure. If you can correct me and provide me with a more accurate quote, it'd be much appreciated.
