So my dog Titus had a hematoma on his ear.
He had to go into surgery to get it corrected- When I got him back from the vet, To me.. His ear looked like it had been butchered. It was a quilt pattern of stitching all over it.
I assumed since I am not a vet, that this is what it is supposed to look like. However, yesterday he got his stitches removed and he had a few large blisters on his ear- The vet said it was probably from the stitches being too tight.
Is this a sign of a bad Vet? I have had stitches a couple of times and they never been too tight and caused blistering… I just wonder if this guy is inexperienced or maybe cutting corners- what do you think?
