I think it has more to do with economics rather than any other singular reason .Jews ,post war and in particular zionist Jews ,had the means to propagate their theory of persecution .They owned the means to do so ,i.e media outlets and film studios .Much of their accumulated wealth had been spent making movies that gave horrific accounts of what they had been suffering and as so we have been exposed to their plight more than that of any other group or victim caught up in the atrocities perpetuated by Hitlers regime .
