At the end of World war two when the americans liberated Dachau the soldiers executed many of the guards and turned their weapons over to inmates to execute others. These men were charged but General Patton tore up the charges personally! Should he have done that? if you had liberated the camps would you have executed the guards? After the camps is it a travesty that germany was accepted back into the international community?
