Computer suddelny lags?

I dont know how but i just restored from a bios failure and had to replace a ram stick. But anyways now my computer lags once in awhile, like mouse would do that lag thing and whenever i play any music, windows media, rhapsody theres always that lag static noise and it gets irritating. How could i stop this, it never happen before
 
Try to update your motherboards BIOS from the manufacturers website. Since you're most likely running your sound directly from the motherboard and not a sound card. You may also need a sound driver.
