Hello. Ill jump straight to the point, next semester I will be starting my major towards Computer security and Forensic Investigation. now i know a lot about Mac and PC but nothing about any Linux OS (Ubuntu, Xubuntu,Kubuntu, Debian, Cent OS, Fedora, RedHat, Arch Lunix, SUSE...so many) and there's so many. I'm not really sure where to begin with this. from what i understand about the degree is that i'll be trained on computer hacking to catch bad computer hackers. i know nothing about hacking and I'm not sure where to being. i plan on buying a used PC and upgrading the hardware myself and choosing a Linux so i can begin. please give good advice and be detailed as possible. I want to start learning now so that when i begin the class i will already have a understanding. thank you.
