I have Windows XP Pro, came with the computer (Dell) and it worked at first, but I think it was ever since I upgraded to IE 8 It's been completely forgetting all history, forms, auto-complete, long period logins, and everything as soon as I close all the browser windows. I have defaulted my security settings and all settings, and made sure cookies were enabled, and it's still doing it. It's not my antivirus either, because it's happened on two different AV's, and still does it when AV is off. Why is IE clearing all my history immediately when I close?
Computer forgets history, cookies, everything, even though cookies are enabled?
