Composers that should compose for animation

I got this idea after looking at the topic that talked about composers that should compose music for Disney, this is going outside of Disney. Now there are plenty of talented people who know their way with music, but most of them havent done music for animation. For both animated film and series. So this there a composer that you would like to see compose for animation? Now before you name any, I should remind you that it has to be someone who does only live action and also video game industry. So name away.

Wynton Marsalis- If there is any animated film that has is in need of a jazzy soundtrack its this guy. I used to think that he shouldve composed the music of Princess and the Frog, before I found out that Newman was from Orleans.

Robin Beanland and Grant Kirkhope-One of Rare's best composers. These guys should really do something for animation. Conker's bad fur day had some "cartoon" feel music to it. And so did the first Banjo-Kazooie game. So why not? Its an instant slam dunk.

Nobuo Uematsu(The Final Fantasy Series) - This is only composer I can think of that I would love to have him compose music for animation. :p

John Williams?

James Horner?

David Newman?

Danny Elfman?

Eric Serra?

Koji Kondo?

Jun Senoue?

Richard Jacques?

I suppose any composer could compose for animated productions, if a company were to ask them. Whether or not they would accept the job would be up to them, of course.

An American Tail 1 and 2, The Land Before Time, Once Upon a Forest, We're Back! a Dinosaur's Story and Balto.

The Brave Little Toaster, Rover Dangerfield, Anastasia and Ice Age.

The Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride and Meet the Robinsons.

I suppose Arthur and the Invisibles could count.

My choice is Christopher Young. He's written some fine, dramatic music, so I'm sure that he'd write a terrific animated score.

Oops. That was my fault. I completely forgot about all that.

My point though is that any composer who is asked could do it if they wanted to. I had just (albeit unintentionally) given examples of composers who are normally known for doing live-action movies.

Maybe "Yuuki-chan's Papa" (Mega Man, Street Fighter) could compose for animation as well? Parts of Shugo Chara's soundtrack (which Yuuki-chan's Papa didn't do) reminded me a little bit of Mega Man music (specifically, the track identified on the official soundtrack as "Cool and Spicy Girl").

What about Alan Silvestri (and no, Who Framed Roger Rabbit doesn't count because that one is predominantly live-action)?
