Composer FX 1.9.2 effect for photo both ?

so ive heard from everyone that when they tried to install it they ichat would just close when they tried to use one of the effects

i went and downloaded them a couple minutes ago and mine is doing the same thing

is there a way to fix this? make it so that you can use them not just un-installing them?
