First things first I've got 4 subs. 2 are sony and 2 are lightning audio but that doesn't matter. Anyways I've also got 2 amps - a 2channel 1200W max (I know I should go by the RMS) and a 4 channel 600W max. I currently have the 2 sonys (bigger and more powerful) hooked up stereo to my 2 channel amp, and the lightning audios hooked up stereo to 2 channels of the 4 channel amp. Now I'm thinking about taking the smaller amp out and hooking all 4 up to the 2channel amp. I'd wire them in series - 2 per channel. This would give an 8ohm load to the amp right? Opposed to the 4 ohm loads I have to each amp right now. Anyways which wiring setup would be better? Louder? Better sounding? Why? If this isn't any good do you have any suggestions? Thanks.
