Complicated Situation: Billing Cycle, Prorating Monthly Charges?

I will be out of the country for several months starting Friday 25th. This could mean 3 months or 6 or even an year. All depenRAB. I might consider suspending or cancelling the account.

When I activated the account my billing cycle / payment date was set at 21st of the month.

Now, how do I go about and keep the line WORKING till that date.

Can I / Should I pay for the 5 days (PRORATED?) Would they do that?

OR

Do I have to trick them into changing the billing cycle to pay that amount?

OR

Do I pay the monthly amount and then come 25th, ask them cancel / suspend and credit my account?

do you want to keep the phone nuraber? if yes you can go into a corporate cricket store and ask for a vacation suspend they will charge you a partial amount of your regular monthly bill (i think it is 1/4th or 1/3rd) and keep the account open so you can have it back when you return.

just stop paying the bill and it will disconnect at the end of the billing cycle. there's no way to get them to prorate the charges that i know of, but you could do a bridge pay which is $20 bucks and it will keep the line active for 7 extra days
