I'm living in Beijing for a little while, so I find this question fascinating. I think it's really interesting the way Chinese people perceive what is healthy and what is not. Chinese people tend to think that cold drinks and foods are not as good for you and I have been told that this has to do with chinese medicine.
I have met many many friendly and kind Chinese people, but I would have to say that initially not all Chinese people seem as open and friendly as American people.
Chinese fashion for women is also interesting. Everything here in China seems a lot more frilly and sparkly. A lot more kinds of fashions are considered acceptable as well. I also think it is interesting how girls that are friends hold hands around and are very affectionate to one another. That is not something you see in the US.
