Comparing Treo to S60

the palm has palm os which is good for a pda but as a phone it's really terrible. Lots of software glitches, complicated menus, poorly designed hardware *usually have problems after 8months*

i've just started using the symbian os and it's pretty sweet. it's takes up all my free time just looking for software and playing around with them. Too bad all the good apps requires you to buy them

Treo 650 uses the Palm's OS which I believe is horrible in every way (phone and PDA). Its not user friendly whatsoever. I may be bias coming from windows mobile but that's how I feel and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Could be a reason way the Treo's now come with Windows Mobile instead.

As far Series 60, I have no knowledge but that should change shortly when I get a N95.

Palm OS is not capable of multitasking, which makes it barely a 'smartphone' OS at all.

What are its good attributes compared with S60 then?

there is a ton of software, lots of it free for palm. i haved used WM5, Palm, Symbian and BB OS on my phones. They all have their pros and cons.
