house divided cannot stand"? America considers President Abraham Lincoln to be among its greatest heroes. Lincoln led America's northern states in a Civil War (1861 - 1865) against its southern states to, "preserve the union". Lincoln said that, "a house divided against itself cannot stand". Doesn't this same logic apply to Taiwan's rebellion against China? Shouldn't Taiwan accept the wisdom of Abraham Lincoln and reunify with China?
