Compare and contrast: Brian / Stewie and Kyle / Cartman

So how does Brian and Stewie from Family Guy, compair to Kyle and Cartman from South Park, in terms of comedy duos that semi antagonistic?

Last episode of Family Guy when Stewie wanted Brian to do what he did, does remind of the subplot in the Imagination Land trilogy.

More often Brian and Stewie can be each other sidekicks in adventures and schemes, Kyle and Eric are more pure enemies, Cartman has Butters to be his sidekick or partner in a scheme.
 
I wouldn't compare Stewie and Brian at all to those South Park characters. I mean you can just tell how deep there friendship is, they like each other deep down but don't want to opeanly admit it. All the adventures they've been on. I love there friendship.
