I purchased a water softener system about 2 yrs ago. Only recently in the last month because i needed service did i find out that they are no longer in business. I tried email and calling them. Accept when i call the number, it is now a new water softener system company and they say they are not the previous company and they won't honor our warranty because they are not them and they are in no way affiliated. So now i have a system in which we are paying monthly that we bought for $6,000! On the back of the bill it does note that "special rule for credit card purchases" stating if their is a problem and u tried in good faith to correct may not have to pay remaining amount, does that apply to this situation? Please advise. Any info will help. Thanks
