Company Blocking Droid from Email Server

I've been using my Droid and Touchdown with Active Synch to synch my Droid with Outlook at work. About 3 days ago it stopped working and I suspect that my company is blocking my Driod b/c it's against company policy b/c of security concerns. Not sure how they are blocking it but I've tried multiple times to reactivate the active synch with the Exchange server but it won't accept it. Don't want to go back to a bberry so wanted to find out if there are any work arounds. Appreciate any thoughts.

hmmmm, i guess you need to determine if its blocking your phone or you (your mail account)
can you power up the blackberry and see if it works using the same active sync (i'm assuming you are using a tethered sync)

Here's a thought: You want to work around your company's security policies and you're publicly asking for help. Do you not value your job?

Contact your Exchange administrator and ask him/her what the problem is from the server end. If what you are really trying to do violates company security policies you have 3 choices: 1) get the company to change the policy; or 2) get a BlackBerry if that's permitted; or 3) get another job.

Openly violating the company security policies is hardly ever a good idea.

DUH.. Your not suppose to connect.. I am surprised you were even able to in the first place. They blocked you to follow policy, policy that I bet you signed your agreed with at some point?

but that's not his question though is it? Not trying to sound too confrontational;
the policy might be "we only supply blackberries" not "you can't use anything but" and they simply only support blackberries so he's come here for help.
Not every company is massively paranoid about the competition knowing that the Dishwasher wasn't emptied last night and the photocopier on level 4 is busted.
