Ok so I messed around in high school, didn't take it too seriously and graduated with at 2.24 GPA. Bad. Baaad. Anyway, I'm going to my local community college and I hate it. Hate hate hate. My sister currently goes to some private school nearby in a pretty big city (USF) and I have a pretty chance to transfer after only 1 year! Score!

Well, it turns out my family can't afford to send me there for the next three years, so they've told me today. All other private schools are too expensive (around $30k+) and we get no help from the FAFSA or from financial aid. It really looks like I'm going to have to stay another year here but I can't take it anymore, I seriously cannot stand my cc. Sure I'm sure some of you had great experiences or can go on about how great it is, but I live in a small town, all my friends are gone, I'm pretty much alone. I can't take it anymore! I can't even attempt to transfer to any UC or CSU public schools because the deadline has passed!

I'm being a bit melodramatic but my life is miserable here and I can't stand it. What do I do? I cannot fathom spending another year hear. Any help with money or future plans would be appreciated.

Sounds like you need to plan out your life goals. Figure out what you want to do with your life first. Then, educate yourself. School is a tool for learning. DO NOT continue to misuse your GPA.
