This year I graduated with a BS degree in Communications. About a month after that I landed a job working as a copywriter/production director at a local radio station. My salary is 22,200 a year, and with student loans kicking in on top of rent, utilities, and insurance, its been a little hard to get by.
I kind of like my job, but for the most part, it stresses me out way too much. I'm getting very depressed now because I'm stuck in a job I don't really like, barely getting paid enough to pay the bills; not a very good place to be at 22.
My real passion is music, but there is no career in my area for that.(Pittsburgh) I don't want to stay in this job for much longer, but I'm running out of options. There are no openings at the local papers, radio stations, or other media outlets. And I want to stay away from sales jobs. What other career options do I have and where can I look for them?
