Looking for the app or software download for bluetooth interactions with OWA on a DoD (USN) network

Blackberry does it.....verizon said droid does it too, but I sure can't find anyone who knows what I am talking about.

Hi, I am also trying hard to find a smartcard reader for Moto Milestone (droid).
But I could find nothing than the BlackBerry. It appears that RIM is quite ahead with this stuff ...

If you find any solution please share it here.

you will still need middleware (active client) to use OWA, I do not think Androd has anything like that. Blackberries on NMCI authenticate through Exchange/BB Server to byepass the need for Active Client.

Working on it... first problem is that there are no drivers yet for Linux 2.6. I've been in contact with Apriva and BAI, L.P. to see if they have plans to release even reference drivers so I can compile for Android, but no plans yet. The BlackBerry SC reader is even better (it will pair with your 'puter and mobile device simultaneously)... but I doubt they'll ever release their drivers to a competitor platform.

Once we have drivers for a SCR, then someone can write the app... and not necessarily require the ActivClient Applets either... should be able to access the cards as a GSC-IS / FIPS 201 compliant endpoint.

Now apparently, BAI has decided to partner with Good / Northrup Gruman and release a version of it's SCR on Android, eta Q4 2010 (posted on August 3). Here's the link:

1. I'm not holding my breath... this is the same crew that's been tring to get the "approved" BT headset for, like, two years now.
2. All of us on AKO get hooked up... don't know if NMCI will square you guys away too.
