It sounds like your dad can't take you in due to financial reasons? Can you contact him at all? If he does care, and is capable, I'm sure he'd definitely do whatever he could to get you out of this. If you came clean and knew he could take you, it could probably happen, I'm not sure, but if the situation is still that bad, it might be worth a shot.

You need to keep in mind though, if the DFCS does step in you could easily end up a ward of the state and in foster care (which sometimes can be worse than your current situation). That's why I'm asking about relatives. If there are not relatives and there's no more physical abuse, it might be easier to just "suck up" her bs and hold out until you're of legal age and get out of there. I really wish you weren't in this mess, hun. :sad:
 
At this point getting out is the only thing I have left to look forward too. But it's too distant to give me a significant amount of motivation to succeed.... Can anybody suggest to me any drugs that won't fuck me up but will take my mind off of depressing thoughts for about a month at a time?
 
I think first and foremost we all go through something that we find very difficult, and its pretty obvious that what you went through, NO CHILD SHOULD"VE GONE THROUGH!!! Yet, its happened, and the best way to handle something traumatic is to find a positive light in the end. If you survived that situation it must have made you stronger right??? I mean you sound as if you arn't. I really think you should write this out confide in a close friend or even a stranger(ie. us internet folks) we might no know you personally but we are human and we know right from wrong, and oddly enough we could be therapeutic. Missy, just think about how much you've gone through and came out of it with you still the person you are. No matter how much you scraped and scratched to get what you wanted, JUST KNOW YOU ARE A HUMAN BEING AND YOU AND ONLY YOU CAN CONTROL YOUR DESTINY!
 
Cheese, just prove everyone in your family wrong and become succssesful. Prove everyone wrong and shadow everyone who has ever stood in your way. We all can give you advice, but the road you choose is completlely up to you, and no one but yourself can make you the best person. Blah blah blah, you know this story but really man despite all this shit you have been through look at who you are. You really can get somewhere with your talents.
