i just bought it and its edited really badly! any one else bought it and seen it on dvd? i remember alot more on the orig film

I have the R1 Version,its a few mins longer.
think its 90 mins running time

i love the movie but i just wish they had interview footage and bits like deleted sences and stuff like that.

yes,even the r1 has nothing but a trailer.
No doubt 20th century fox will somewhere along the way release a platinum edition with extras to make more money.

I'm no expert but i'm sure the original version of Predator on region 2 was pretty cut as well.

With both films, from memory I think it had something to do with Fox only doing one Region 2 pressing for the whole of Europe so it was the heavily cut version to allow sale in Germany.

Something like that anyway!

hell, it was cheap (5.99), but yes ..... being cut for those sensitive euro types was NOT ON

What a cool film, I loved it Arnie was definitely the man!

I remember a scene in it when Arnie and the Black guy that was also with him in Predator were fighting and they burst into the next room where a couple were having sex.....wasn't expecting that bit anyway!

Yeah i've got it on DVD. The bit where he strangles the bloke on the plane is cut out near the start. I didn't really notice alot of other heavily edited stuff though apart from that and i have it on tape recorded in about 1990.
