Google has shared images of its updated Glass.
The company on Tuesday posted images of the new Google Glass, featuring a mono earbud and support for prescription glasses. It appears the device has no other hardware upgrades, but Google said it will also be compatible with shades it plans to offer at some point in the future.

The images follow a Google+ post on Monday that announced the upgrade.
Google is offering Explorers who purchased Glass before Monday a one-time option to exchange their current device for the upgraded version. Google didn't say exactly when the new devices will be available, only that it would notify Explorers in November with the next steps for the swap program. Explorers can also switch to a different colored Glass during the one-time swap.
The hardware improvement comes along with the expansion of Google's Glass Explorer program. Over the next few weeks, current Explorers can invite up to three people to join the program, Google said. Those people will be required to buy Glass to get started.
