In news that may ripple through the entire US pricing market, T-Mobile rolled out a $50 unlimited minutes plan for loyal customers today. From Engadget:

Well it appears to me that they offer unlimited BB + unlimited messaging for $34.99 so if this rolls out nationally you are at $84.99 for unlimited minutes, BIS, and messaging, right?
 
Yep.. Its already happening. I logged into my t-mobile, and they offered me the upgrade. I took it. Great deal for everything unlimited around 85 dollars.
 
I saw something for family plans. I think its $49 for the first line, $39 for each of the others. Log on to My Tmobile and see if you get the invite...
 
i actually did get the invite. so i called t mo and found out the details for the family plan....
its 89.99 for the first 2 lines. thats 90 bucks for 2 lines. then its the 39.99 for each line after. not bad. so i signed up. even saved 10 more bucks since i dont need the wi fi clling anymore! sweeeeet!
 
Good thing the corporate discount that I'm applying hasn't been added my plan yet. And if they don't allow the corporate discount w/ the plan then I will just take the discount off. Its not worth losing the unlimited plan.

No need for an invite. I just called and talked to loyalty group. I was already on the family unlimited plan for 149.99 and they switched me over to the cheaper plan no questions asked.

I couldn't switch either because of my corporate discount, but the specialist said that they may have something set up for corporate accounts in the future.

I noticed yesterday I was invited fo rthe $49 plan, though I realize that I don't use my current minutes as of yet.

Trying to save money !!
