Come Dine With Me 2010 (Part 2)

Good episode. The yappy women completely missed Rob's slightly odd sense of humour. I'd be happy to have dinner with any of them (except maybe the minor radio presenter one who was a bit full of herself).

Hopefully they have enough footage to make a full week set of expanded editions for teatime in the future, I am sure they have done that before.

Day 3 and Anthony cooking.

Starter: spicy butternut squash soup.
Main: venison sausage cassoulet with potato dauphinoise and wilted spinach.
Pudding: baked chocolate and lime cheesecake.

There is a "gourmet pub" we go to for lunch sometimes that lately insists on serving the cheeseburgers on bits of wood. I always think it looks really unhygienic, who knows what bad stuff is lurking in all the cracks and grain.

I found this funny oops. She thinks she's above everyone at the moment maybe she'll come down a peg or two. Maybe she was drinking heavily due to nerves or maybe she just likes the alcohol.

Think the leopard skin throw on the sofa did too (if it is a throw, and not the whole sofa )

I think the slopey attic walls would do my head in, not much chance of tall bookcases or many places to hang a mirror/pictures. Every room, lounge, bedroom and kitchen, seems to have them. What's with two TVs? One pub cctv maybe?

Girlyboy's hair seems to be much much longer "now" in his kitchen than it did when he was shown shooting his film at the start?

Did she not even put an oxo cube in her meatballs?

"And now for something completely ... similar" ... Meat loaf looks completely bland and rubbish too.

pre-prepared onion and carrots - how lazy is this woman?

And why is "burlesque" ALWAYS (Ok with the exception of Dita Von Teese) always done by hideous middle aged women? It should be redefined as something that ought to be sexy but has been completely neutered by the performer.

Bit mean of gio to say he wasnt sure if pub lady was a lady, she's a bit annoying but he's gone down in my estimation after being mean.

Dennis will be cooking:

Starter - spinach and ricotta gnocchi with tomato and mascarpone sauce.
Main: duck and red wine risotto with a plum sauce.
Pudding: crostata di frutta.
