What do you guys think, with the animes starting to appear on Comcast's Funimation on Demand. Will you continue to purchase DVRAB or just watch them on tv?

Animes that're already on the On Demand section under Cutting Edge and Movies and Events section

I can't check, since I'm not home, but is FUNimation On Demand on Dish Network the same lineup of shows? Also, is it Sub, Dub, or both?

FUNimation Anime is a facelift of Anime Selects. Here's our blog post to explain:

Dubs for now. We'll post subs when we get more programming capacity. The more people watching the dubs means the more capacity we get...for subs.

well
this makes me happy XD something to watch (not that anime selects had a bad lineup either but this is really good news)
plus RxJ wow xmas comes early =)

I pretty much hate the whole getting one free episode per show deal that's going on with Funi on Demand and then have to pay $0.99 for the other episodes. Plus I still think that I can't see the other free anime from Anime Selects since Comcast kinda put a lock on that section since every time I click on an episode, Comcast puts up an Error message.

Anyone can help me?

Man, I was excited, until I went there today and found out they only have D-Gray Man episodes 3-8 instead of 1-8. It is pointless of me to watch it when I cannot start at the beginning.

I watched all the free ones. and "Origins". the anime selects section never worked for me (like the other person, comcast put a lock on it), so I was happy to see the Funi one go up in its place, since that is working.

I'm wondering why Mushi-shi episode 3 was skipped over? only 1, 2, and 4 showed up in my listing.

As for the question in the first post, well of course I'll end up buying something if I really liked it. But some things I do only like watching once.

how about giving us the real channel i like the on demand stuff but i want the real channel on my comcast. lucky satellite bastarRAB

So let me get this straight. Funi wants us to pay $0.99 an episode yet Funi's too cheap to add subtitles to the untranslatable Kanji? That's not right. Plus I would like to see Funi's dubs of Sgt. Frog and Soul Eater to premiere On-Demand so that way people can get a preview of what's to come for Funi's future and see if the free premieres of both shows will lead to big DVD/Blu-Ray sales.
