The other day I turned on my TV and the sound was working but the picture was very boxy and looked as if it were pixelated for an old 8 bit video game (best way I can think to describe it.) The picture wasn't moving at all, just a mesh of boxes and colors. Even switching the channel just made it into a different combination of boxes and colors. I turned off the cable box and now it says "To Be Announced" for every channel. I unplugged the cable box, let it sit and then plugged it back in with no avail and I've let it sit in this state for quite a few hours (went to work and came back.) I tried this about three times and even now I'm sitting with the TV on, hoping that it'll decide to return to the living. This is about day 3 of this foolery and I'm getting really frustrated, but I don't have the schedule (or patience) to call for Comcast to send someone out. Any other suggestions?
Comcast "To Be Announced" Issues?
