I'm going backpacking in a few weeks and am going to the doctors today to get put on the combined pill. I've already ruled out other methods such as the implant as they check up on you with this to make sure it's ok and I won't be here for that. Also the pill allows me to guarantee I won't have a period during the specific time that I'll be very rural. My question is would a doctor prescribe me with 3 months worth the first time I go to see him? I really appreciate any help, thanks.
