combined phx tucson market??

I was looking at the newest pamphlet of the local cricket coverage area and apparently it corabines the phoenix market and the tucson market and essentialyl all points on the interstate 10 all the way down to nogales, which borders mexico. My previous understanding was that these were separate markets and a few months ago my phx market cricket service stopped working south of casa grande. So is this one big corabined local market now??
 
Today Phx and Tucson, Tomorrow the world mahahahaha o.o now if they would only link up North cali with SD and then go to AZ then that be a big cricket market
 
one problem though the market linkup is good is that if you don't have a ld distance plan if you are in the phx area codes (602,480,623) you can't call the tucson area codes (520,928), without using a calling card. So while it is apparently one "local" cricket market, it is not local calling it is long distance and if you don't have a ld plan, then it sucks.
 
if they end up clustering the markets like they have done in the cali markets of modesto/merced fresno and visalia all your problems wil be solved
